Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components
A special item can be used to transform certain Pokemon. The upgrade can be obtained by spinning a photo disc and is sometimes given as a reward at Pokemon GO events.
The Upgrade can also be placed in armor, weapons trinkets, and gathering tools to increase their item level. The upgrade cost Flightstones and crests, depending on the item type.
Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be inserted into trinkets, armors, weapons and other tools for gathering in order to provide attribute bonuses or other effects while using the equipment. The item being upgraded must have an available upgrade slot to accept the component, and most upgrade components require the item to be upgraded to be above an amount. Some upgrade item s also have special visual effects when applied to an item of equipment. Upgrade components are available through crafting, bought from Karma merchants, or traded with other players via the Trading Post. They can also be salvaged from equipment and received as rewards.
There are a variety of upgrade components available, each offering a different bonus. Universal upgrades, which include gems and inscriptions, can be used with any kind of equipment. They also offer lower bonuses than other kinds of upgrade components. Infusions can be used on non-amulet and legendary ascended items, while enrichments can be utilized on certain ascended back equipment. The majority of upgrade components can be replaced when they are inserted into an item, however doing so destroys the previous upgrade. The only exceptions are glyphs, which can only be used in gathering tools, and enchantments. Both are able to be removed and then reinserted.
Insignias or enchantments, as well as prefix/suffix upgrades will be displayed in the hover display of the item and they will be added to the equipment's name (e.g. an Radiant Insignia could change the name into Radiant Tyrian Armor). The tooltip of an item will show the number of upgrade components that have been added to it.
Glyphs
Glyphs are special characters that can be inserted into an OpenType font to add functional or decorative elements such as ligatures, ornaments, fractions and swashes registered trademark symbols and ellipses. The Glyphs panel lets you look up and insert these unique characters as well as normal glyphs, such as em dashes and en dieshes registered trademark symbols, as well as glyphs that don't appear in other fonts (such as dingbats).
Each Glyph gives an initial boost in stats for the character. The glyph could also be equipped with up to four secondary stats that will affect its radius on your Paragon Board. The Glyphs in your inventory can be activated by selecting them and then clicking the "enchant" button. You can level up Glyphs by finishing Tree of Whisper Quests or Nightmare Dungeons. The more difficult a dungeon is, the more Glyph experience you'll gain. Once a Glyph is at level 15 it is upgradeable at the Glyph Upgrade Altar. Upgrading a Glyph increases its radius on the Paragon Board by one node every 15 levels.
Once a Glyph is upgraded to its desired level You can activate it by selecting it, then clicking the "enchant" button. The resulting glyph will provide its stated bonus and will increase the number of nodes that are within its radius on the Paragon Board. Glyphs should be placed in areas that will benefit your building the most. This is why you should consider Magic Glyphs as soon as possible. Rare glyphs can also provide double bonus when certain conditions are fulfilled.
If you're having difficulty finding a particular glyph, click the cycle widget on the Glyphs panel to show the panel in a number of different views. Each view displays the Glyphs using a different font. You can narrow down the selection of glyphs by selecting an option below "Entire Font". For example, punctuation only displays punctuation glyphs. Math Symbols limits the options to mathematical symbols.
Rerolling
